Requerimiento gubernamental

Tomás Martín, from the SKL International - Swedish Cooperation program, aimed to promote knowledge management in public operations in Colombia through the use of statistical data at the municipal, departmental and regional levels. To achieve this, he sought out Kubo to develop a mobile application that could display detailed geographic information about the country. In addition, the application had to work offline, downloading the information to the phone when there were places with poor coverage.

Development of an application

The mobile application developed by Kubo optimized the openness of data, ensuring that it was available anywhere in the country. One of the most important challenges was the lack of availability of the DNP database, which led to the need to build an information processor that would act as a bridge to facilitate access to the data.
